ACTA: Ungender’s Gender Newspaper
‘Acta’ is a labour of love from the editors of Ungender. It is a e-newspaper that we curate to keep our readers informed about the gender and workplace news and the best organisational practices from India and around the world. We edit it keeping in mind the shifting conversations around gender and the need for companies to stay abreast of labour laws, good practices and reference material. It tracks diverse organisations and reports on what they are getting right.
What we publish in Acta:
Editorial: We use the Acta editorial as a commentary on what is going on in the gender space at the moment anywhere in India or in the world. The editorial is our comment on not just what is, but what can be.
What we’re writing: The think pieces that we write, the editorial interviews, columns on diversity, research and reports.
What we’re reading: All the gender news around the world.
Conversation with Leaders: An ongoing series of interviews with top industry leaders on a range of subject.
Appointments: The people being rewarded, awarded and appointed to important positions.
Campaigns and call-ins: Our ongoing call in on all-male panels or manels and we must do to fix the gender imbalance.
Unlearn/Suggest: All the memes and creatives and social awareness campaigns we curate to start conversations around gender, gender roles, sexual harassment at the workplace and bias.
Report: We pick a report for every issue to discuss data that has deep impact on this space.
Shows, videos, podcasts: We love a good podcast! We curate the best videos and podcasts themed on gender.
